Must do in Portland

"Highly Recommend this tour if you are coming to Portland. I had Riley and Adam and they both were great! We had enough time at each stop to really enjoy the views. On the way up we got some history on Oregon and the tree cutting and replanting process which was very interesting. Both guides were super friendly and helpful giving recommendations on where to eat for lunch and dinner once we were back in Portland."

An Incredible Tour

"We were happier that we had Jim Turner as our guide for the second day in a row. He is a wealth of knowledge about everything Portland, plus friendly, professional, courteous, caring and considerate. He made sure that everyone in our tour group got the full benefits of the hike up to the waterfalls. All stops were timed perfectly, and he kept us informed about everything that would happen at each stop. He also kept us engaged in the van with his historical facts, stories and anecdotes about the surroundings.

It was a long day, yet we returned to our hotel with the feeling that we must come back to Portland to see more of what this lovely city has to offer."

Perfect for a delightful afternoon!

"This tour was incredible! Somewhat customizable based on what the group felt like doing - seeing more waterfalls vs. seeing fewer that required some effort to get to. And our guide, Cameron, was AMAZING! He was knowledgeable in all things geology and history, from how the gorge was formed zillions of years ago to interesting trivial tidbits that added to the charm of the area and each stop. I would highly recommend this tour for a delightful afternoon!"

Lovely experience

"Amazing experience! Everything Riley showed and told us was interesting. We really had a good tour group. Everything in the description of the tour was on point.

Riley, our tour guide, was awesome, he even did a favor for me, I wasnt feeling my best and he kept asking if I was okay and waited for me and respected my rhythm."

The beauty of waterfalls

"Such an incredible tour. Jim was so knowledgeable and more importantly funny. So much beauty only a short drive from the city. I would highly recommend this tour!"

Perfect trip

"Cameron was extremely knowledgeable and personable! I got to see the most breathtaking views that I wouldn’t have thought to explored with my own car. You might get to see puffins and Roosevelt Elk on your trip :) Must do!"

10 out of 10

"Rylie was by far the best tour guide I've ever had! I was solo traveling while my mom was in a conference and looking for a way to visit the coast without having to rent a car myself- well this tour provides so much more than what you'd get renting a car and doing it yourself! I learned so much about the coast, got restaurant recommendations and also got to meet some other cool solo travelers! This tour is a MUST!"

You’ll Love the Guides!

"This was the second tour we booked with Infinite Oregon, as we had such a great time on the City Tour. For this tour we had Jim, who is the most upbeat and positive of any tour guide we ever had. Loved his dry sense of humor. Jim made it a point to remember every person in our tour group and engage with them personally at some point. He entertained us with great stories and tidbits of information throughout the 4 hours. Would definitely recommend."

You’ll Be Happy You Booked!

"Very happy we booked with Infinite Oregon. Our guide, Riley, was very upbeat and engaging. He made it a point to learn everyone’s names and then individually connect with each person at some point during the tour. He took us to all of the highlights plus a lot of little out of the way spots and explained everything in great and interesting detail. Would definitely recommend."

Must do, great way to spend the day!

"Decided to do the tour as I was traveling solo and didn’t want to bothered with renting car, driving and navigating through coast. It was an amazing experience and Cameron did a fantastic job narrating interesting facts about each location. Spent ample time at each location without feeling like you were rushed. We were a full group of 12, most solo travelers. Great way to spend the day exploring coast line. Highly recommend if you have a day to spend and getting out of city. Appreciated the hotel pick up and drop off vs having to meet at a check in location."

Age-accessible coastal tour!

"I booked the coastal tour for my mother, grandmother, and I July, 2025 and we couldn't be more pleased! Our host, Adam, checked in with us over text the day before to confirm and went out of his way to make my 86 year old grandmother comfortable. He was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and extremely interesting to listen to!"

A Very Positive Experience

"We made the right choice when we picked “Infinite Oregon Tours” as our guides and chaperones for a half-day City Tour. Jim Turner was extremely knowledgeable about the history and the geography of the city of Portland. He was also generous in passionately sharing a lot of fun facts and anecdotes regarding local customs with us. We learned a tremendous amount of stuff, and his cool and fun style will make us remember everything we heard for a long time. For this city tour, we also had Adam – who was just as helpful and kind.

We returned to our hotel very satisfied at what we had seen and learned. As tourists, it would have been impossible to rent a car, try to figure out what to see, how to get there, and see what we saw in a relatively short time. So glad we left the driving to the locals.

Thank you, Jim and Adam, for giving us one of the best learning experiences we have had. It just makes us want to return to Portland next year, and follow up on all the tips we received from you.”

Finding Wonder on the Oregon Coast with Cameron

"If you ever find yourself in Portland wondering what it all means and whether anything beautiful still exists in the world, I suggest you take the Full Day Guided Oregon Coast Tour with Infinite Oregon Tours....

Our tour guide, Cameron, was something of a poet laureate of the Pacific Northwest. He communicated with clarity and warmth before, during, and after the tour, encouraging us to reach out for restaurant tips, activity suggestions, or perhaps answers to life's larger questions. He was also a masterful driver, piloting that oversized tour van with the precision of a brain surgeon threading a needle in a windstorm. The roads were narrow, the turns tight, and yet we floated along like a leaf in a very friendly breeze.

We were picked up right from our hotel lobby, which was convenient and efficient. The van was indeed full and perhaps a little cozy, but we were strangers together for only a moment. Camaraderie forms quickly when you’re chasing wonder.

Our first stop was Ecola State Park. If you’ve ever looked out across a vast seascape and felt something stir in your gut that wasn't just breakfast, you’ll understand. Green cliffs dove headfirst into the Pacific. We hiked along trails that flirted with the edge of the continent itself. The site may seem familiar to many, as some notable scenes from The Goonies was filmed there.

Then came Indian Beach, our first touch of sand and sea. The Pacific was doing its eternal breathing in and out, and we stood in awe. Next was the town of Cannon Beach, where we had ninety minutes to roam, eat, and pretend time wasn’t real. Cameron gave us a narrated lap of the town, tossing out recommendations like a benevolent game show host. Our group found seafood that tasted like it had been caught moments before and ice cream that somehow made you nostalgic for a childhood you might not have had.

The afternoon brought us to Haystack Rock, where we gazed upon it from different angles like museumgoers admiring a sculpture that just so happened to be part of the Earth’s own anatomy. We wandered tidal pools that teemed with creatures: sea stars, anemones, crabs, fish, alien and familiar all at once. It was like watching the planet whisper to itself.

The return to Portland took about ninety minutes. We were dropped off back at our hotel, full of stories and maybe even a little wisdom. The tour does require walking over uneven ground, so if you have mobility concerns, be aware. That said, Cameron showed great compassion and made adjustments for a fellow traveler who needed them. That kind of care is rare and beautiful.

In about nine hours, we saw more beauty than some people see in a lifetime. If you’re short on time but hungry for meaning, this tour is a hell of a good place to start. Five stars. No question."

“I have been on hundreds of tours all around the world. TJ is, by far, the best tour guide I have ever experienced! He managed to interweave history, geology, botany, and culture into a beautiful tapestry with majestic views! My husband and I surely will return to experience a couple more of his adventures!”

-Maritza Ross

“We went on the Gorge full day tour- we 110% recommend!! Truly was the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen!

“Rylie was the absolute best guide! He kept us informed of our day, plus provided an incredible amount of great information regarding Portland, the history of the area, and the waterfall. We felt very lucky to have him as our guide. If I was to do a tour in this area again, I would go straight to Infinite Oregon Tours!”

-Mary Bringetto

“Loved using Infinite Oregon Tours for the beach tour, waterfalls & 1/2 day city tour. Our tour guides, Jim & Ryan, were top tier. I loved and appreciated their knowledge and passion for the sites and am leaving Portland with a new found love for the area.”

“The best day on the Oregon coast with an incredible guide. I cannot recommend this tour with Infinite Oregon enough!

TJ is engaging and an extremely personable and fun guide. From the start I knew this tour was next level. his communication was proactive, he had snacks and waters ready, extra layers and umbrellas available for any weather. He told great stories on the way to stops so the transit time flew by.

I cannot believe we fit in so many stops. I loved the views, and mix of seaside town, beach and forests.

We had just the right amount of time at each stop and TJ prepped us with options of what to stop by or look out for. We had time for photos, and I loved our nature walk through the forest where we learned about the vegetation and history of the region.

I loved this tour and would do it again and recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic day on the Oregon coast.”
